Basic Self-Defense: The Fighting Fundamentals

Basic Self-Defense is a fighting fundamentals class designed for the introduction and improvement of basic combative skills. Students will learn the essential and rudimentary concepts and mechanics behind proper footwork, punching, blocking, falling, and breathing. Students will also learn generation of power, tactical awareness, and body language recognition as they begin training to defend themselves for a real world scenario. Fighting Fundamentals is geared towards the student who has no more than two to three hours a week to train and is seeking to be able to "do something effective" when confronted with real world violence.  

Basic Self-Defense class is taught by veteran martial arts instructor Paul Patacca.
